Welcome! This is my first post. If you’re a noob like me and want to hack through the blog jungle of things that work or not, follow me. Here’s a cheat sheet from my research. We’ll see if I can follow it. My loosey-goosey plan is to blog at least twice a week. First blog, a problem(s)….second blog, a solution(s). Next week, repeat.
Oh, by the way, I am writing a book designed to inspire and reboot focus, about 120 pages, which is going to print the first of May (fingers crossed). Check out my bio here. I’m also taking 13 units this semester (what was I thinking?) and possibly taking a business trip across the country in March (hope I don’t have to go!) plus some other stuff too scary to mention.
The idea behind this blog is to match the stress and frustrations (first blog) of my gung ho projects with excerpts from my book’s content as meaningful thought toward a solution (second blog).
So, on to the current problem…I am over-committed and under-resourced. I’ve never written a book before. I am just now learning the software to produce the book (as if that isn’t enough by itself!). I have no idea how I’m going to complete all this work in the time allotted. I’m not yet totally stressed, but know it’s coming as deadlines near. There’s a tad bit of fear running up and down my spine. I need to prop up my faith so I can pull the rabbit out of the hat.
Wait! First things first! If you read my bio, you know I have some things to be very grateful for, so that will be the focus of my next blog. I want to start out by saying how grateful I am to be healthy and working on something I love. I’m very, very blessed to have these stresses rather than those.
